For coming the first time in Zwickau, I decided to take a bus because of my luggage ( arround 45kg ) and because it was really cheap. I knew already that I will come again by car for the bigger stuff. Finally, it was sixteen long hours of car and train. I took a first one from Paris to Berlin, then another one from Berlin to Dresden and finally a train for Zwickau.

The different conductors of the bus didn´t speak english or french, only german and it was quite hard for me because I don´t speak this language. The travel was really long, and associated to the emotions of the departure, I was exhausted.

I was a bit scared during my train travel because I have seen only field from my windows and I was thinking " where I´m? ". Because Zwickau is a bit in the middle of " no where " in Saxony, even if it´s still a nice city.

The train station of Zwickau was totally empty, and I was surprised that there wasn´t any cab. After few minutes of researches on internet, I had finally found a cab company to called. Second language problem of the day: the driver was speaking only german. I took a lot of time to explain to him the adress of the hotel.

Finally at the hotel: same problem, the person wasn´t speaking german. If I would like to resume my arrival in Zwickau in one word it would be: patience.

Honestly, it´s not impossible to come in Germany without speaking the language even if it´s Saxony. It´s an important and interesting life experience, and everyone should have the chance to do an Erasmus one time in his life.
