The city of Nuremberg, a beautiful visit

The city of Nuremberg, a beautiful visit

Nuremberg : nazi coliseumThis city has a strong history. It was partly destroyed during the Second World War for some reasons. First, this city is famous to be one of the Nazi’s main meeting place. The leader of Germany during the Second World War, Adolf Hitler, had ordered to construct some monuments to symbolize his power such as: the Reichsparteigelande (a nazy party rally grounds where there is a coliseum, picture on the side) and the Zeppelinfeld (main nazy meeting place which is famous for some Hitler speechs). We easily can visit those places and I was really impressed by the immensity. It looked like haunted cold places from the past, and it remembered me some photos of high school books.

We can also visit the law court of the Nazi judgement. They created an interesting exhibition and we can seat in the room 600, where main Nazi criminals have been judged. I was surprized to realize how this place could look like every law court even if it's where the bigger criminals of the twentieth century have been judged. I participated to some history competition in high school, and I have visited Auswitch before, so it was important to me to visit also this place.

Nuremberg is famous for a cookie: the Lebkuchen. Those cookies were produced in a church during a Second World War to feed the population but the Americans thought that they had produced weapons so they bombed the church and killed all the people Inside.

There is a nice medieval castle from where we can have a beautiful view on all the city.

Nuremberg

The old town is adorable and there are old wood bridges, little canals and typical houses. There are some old churches and, on a market place, we can see a special monument which represent the main old families of Nuremberg and, there is a big gold ring that people turn to make a wish.

This is a really nice city and I wish to have the opportunity to continue my studies here
